Your assignment number is the last number in your matrix number. So if your matrix number is WET100112 then your assignment number is 2.
Do and simulate in multisim the following converter. Submit the completed circuit file and report in doc/pdf format (brief report like your sequential report) to drziner@gmail.com (please put your matrix number as the subject in your email)

Good day sir, this is CHONG SAU FEI matric no WET110005 ,I would just like to ask a few questions regarding assignment 5,. Input: 4 bit 2nd complement Output: 4 bit sign magnitude
ReplyDeleteI am a little confused. So, for example, the decimal digit 5, which is 0101, in its 1st complement is 1010, in its 2nd complement is 1011. so is the input 1011? and the output would be 1 1011? but then it would be wrong since the output desires 4 bit.So, should the input be 1010 or 1011 ? and regarding the multisim simulation, should we have 4 counters to display the numbers or just the circuits? Thanks.
